The short version
You can read every page and use every calculator without giving us anything. We use Google Analytics, plus a cookie-free counter on our own server, to count visits. If you choose to sign up for the email course or send us a message, we store what you type into that form. We do not sell or rent personal data, and there is no advertising tracking on this site.
Who is responsible for this site
FirstPip (firstpip.com) is operated by its owner, referred to as "FirstPip", "we" or "us". You can reach us through the contact form at /contact/.
What we collect when you browse
Every page loads Google Analytics 4 (Google's gtag.js script). It records page views and basic, aggregated information such as the type of device, browser, approximate location and how you arrived. To tell visits apart, Google Analytics sets two first-party cookies, _ga and _ga_<ID>, which by default expire after two years (Google's description of these cookies). When someone signs up for the email course, an email_signup event is sent to Google Analytics with the address of the page — not the email address itself.
You can block these cookies in your browser settings or with Google's opt-out browser add-on; the site works the same without them. Google's own handling of this data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
The site sets no other cookies, and the calculators run entirely in your browser: the numbers you type into them are not sent anywhere.
Separately, our own server counts page views and the steps of the email form (seen, started, sent) without cookies. To tell visitors apart within a single day it keeps a one-way hash that changes every day; your IP address is not stored.
Hosting
FirstPip is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes the technical data needed to deliver a page — your IP address, browser user agent and the page requested — under the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
If you sign up for the email course
The sign-up form asks for one thing: your email address. When you submit it we store:
- your email address;
- which form you used (a short label such as "homepage") and the text of the consent you gave;
- the country your request came from, as reported by Cloudflare;
- a one-way, salted hash of your IP address — not the IP address itself — used to limit how often a form can be submitted from one connection;
- the date and time of sign-up.
These records are kept in a database on Cloudflare's infrastructure that is shared by a small group of websites run by the same owner; each record is tagged with the site it came from. Sign-ups made before October 2026 were held in a separate Cloudflare key-value store and have been copied into that database. We use your address only to send FirstPip's email course and related updates. We never sell it and never use it to send trading signals or broker offers.
There is no automatic deletion: an address stays on the list until you ask us to remove it. To be removed, send a request through the contact page from the address you want deleted.
If you send us a message
The contact form stores the name, email address, topic and message you type, the page you sent it from, the country reported by Cloudflare, the same salted IP hash described above, and the time. We use it only to read and answer your message, and to act on corrections under our editorial policy.
Links to other sites
Sources are linked so you can check them. Once you follow a link to another site, that site's own privacy policy applies. At the time of writing no affiliate links are live on FirstPip; if that changes, the affiliate disclosure explains where they can appear.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, using the contact page. Depending on where you live, data-protection law may give you further rights, including the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
Children
FirstPip is written for adults, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
If what the site collects changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top is updated. We do not re-date this page unless its content changed. The rules for using the site and its content, including that nothing here is financial advice, are in our terms of use.
