Education, not advice

Everything on FirstPip — lessons, glossary entries, calculators, resources and news explainers — is general educational content. It does not take your circumstances into account and is not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any currency, contract or other financial product. We are not licensed financial advisers. You are responsible for your trading decisions

FirstPip is not liable for losses that result from trading, including trading based on something you read or calculated on this site.

Accuracy and calculators

We source figures and date them, as set out in our editorial policy, but rules, costs and market conditions change, and mistakes happen. Content is provided "as is", without any guarantee that it is complete, current or error-free. Calculator results depend on the inputs and the assumptions stated on each tool; always check the numbers your broker shows before you trade. If you find an error, please tell us through the contact page.

Links to other websites

We link to regulators, central banks and other sources so you can check what we say. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or availability. Where a page may contain an affiliate link, the affiliate disclosure explains how that works; commission never affects what a page says.

Using our content

You are welcome to link to any page and to quote short passages with a link back to the source page. Copying whole pages, republishing the calculators, or presenting FirstPip content as your own is not permitted without our written permission.
