fomo.family
fomo.family, explained honestly.
fomo.family is a mobile app for trading memecoins and altcoins from a wallet you control. It is crypto, not forex, and it holds no financial licence in any jurisdiction — its own terms say so. That is not the same as being banned, and it is not the same as being safe. These guides set out what it is, how to use it, and exactly what you are carrying yourself before you deposit a cent.
Read this first. Trading memecoins is high risk and most retail traders lose money. A self-custody wallet means there is no chargeback, no compensation scheme and no one who can reverse a mistake for you. Never deposit money you cannot afford to lose, and never let anyone else place trades on your behalf. FirstPip does not promise profits and does not publish profit tables — see our risk disclosure and affiliate disclosure.

What is fomo.family?

Before you deposit anything
Is fomo.family legit?
The honest version: a real company with real backers, no regulatory warnings against it — and no financial licence anywhere. What each of those facts does and does not protect you from.
Is fomo.family regulated?
It is not licensed in any jurisdiction — their own terms say so. Why a self-custodial model is not required to register, and why 'not licensed' is different from 'banned'.
What is a self-custody wallet?
You hold the keys, so you carry the loss. No chargebacks, no compensation scheme, no support line that can reverse a mistake.

Context
Why this section exists
Most of FirstPip is about the foreign exchange market. This section is separate on purpose: fomo.family is a crypto app, the risks are different, and mixing the two would be misleading. If you have never traded anything before, start here instead — the ideas that keep an account alive (risk per trade, stop-losses, why most traders lose) apply to both.
